Why “Coffee Matters”?
Since 2007 we’ve been serving more than just coffee — we’ve been serving our community an experience. Down-home Newfoundland hospitality, freshly roasted beans, homemade soups and sandwiches, and a comfortable spot to enjoy the little things in life.
The room

From the roaster
Four house blends on the go at all times — fair trade and organic, from breakfast blend to our Turkish dark roast. Roasted locally so it never sits around long enough to go quiet. Take a bag home from the counter.

Roasted turkey breast, savoury dressing and cranberry — Sunday dinner, between bread. The one people cross town for.
Atlantic cod, creamy béchamel, melted cheese. Add our famous Mt. Scio dressing and call it deluxe.
Add a from-scratch soup or pasta salad and a cookie to any sandwich. This is the correct decision.
